Quote
"The Damage form the knives was only a beginning for the unforgiving autopsy that Father Carmen Amador found himself obliged to perorm in Dr. Dionisio Iguarian's absence" (Marquez 72).
Reaction
This is the first sentence of Chapter 4 and it shows that there is no hope for Santiago. From the start it shows that this is the end of him and know his murder is known. The way it is said and where it was put in the chapter gave it a big importance and that it shows that it is the climax of the story. I seen it coming but I never knew he was going to be killed like that.

Quote
"It was Angela who didn't want to marry him. He seemed too much of a man for me, she told me" (Marquez 34).
Reaction
I think that Angela said this because she saw Bayardo, a man of old tradition and high class. He dresses fancy and act fancy. I also think that she thinks she is too young for him. He is around the ages of 30 and Angela is younger. I agree with what she says. I think Bayardo is too much for her.

Chronicles of a Death Fortold (Pg 3 -25)
Summary
This is a strange reading. In this book it seems like there are run on sentences and the way some of the words are arrange are different. The book starts with the narrator, probably the person who killed Santiago Nasar telling the story of Santiago. Before his death Santiago had dreams in which he was going through timber trees, and dreams that he was flying through the forest in a tin foil plane. From the readings of his mother, she said those are not ominous and no harm can come from it. Santiago was in a good the day was was killed. It was said that the day he died the weather was mostly cloudy skies, and a slight drizzle. He whore what he wore on special occasions which was white linage. When his father died he had to stop his studies so he can keep the farm going. Him and his father spoke Arabic with each other, but not in front of the mother so she wouldn't feel excluded. Victoria Guzman and her daughter Divina Flor, who serve Santiago coffee almost every morning heard Santiago was going to be killed but wasn't sure if this was true or not. Under the front door of house, there was a letter that said someone was waiting to kill him, but that letter wasn't read until his death. Santiago had done things that didn't make him a good man, such as touch a woman unappropriated when she doesn't agree with it or like it. Twins, Pedro and Pablo Vicario, 24 years of age were waiting for Santiago in a shop with knifes rolled up and hidden in a newspaper. Santiago was killed because talk was going around that he was mixed up in the situation of the Angela Santiago and her soon to be husband. Her husband found that she was not a virgin and somehow Santiago was mixed up in that. so that got Santiago to be killed.
Quote
"I also knew that he kept the guns in one place and hid the ammunition in another far removed so that nobody, not even casually, would yield to the temptation of loading them inside the house"(Marquez 6).
Reaction
This is a good method in making sure your home is safe when you have kids and a weapon such as a gun in the house. This method requires searching unless the two objects are known where to be found. These two objects of course are the gun and bullets, with one but the not other, the weapon can not be in use in no way. The separation of the two guarantee safety. I say this is a good for a house hold where children are around. In some areas guns maybe be required in every home as a way of safety precaution of keeping the family safe from intruders that have the mentality to harm in any way or to still.
